Jerry
Ferguson, Broker
Universal
Listing, Inc. is headed by Jerry Ferguson, a licensed real estate
broker, and a significant player in the commercial and industrial
real estate market since 1990. Before becoming involved in commercial
and industrial real estate, Jerry had most recently been vice
president and manager of a major office of one of California's
largest banks. Prior to that assignment, he had spent a number
of years as a senior loan officer and credit administrator, working
with major corporate clients as well as financing builders, developers
and real estate investors, bringing with him over twenty years
experience in banking and finance.
A
former U.S. Army officer, Jerry holds an undergraduate degree
in marketing and a graduate degree in finance from the University
of Montana. Although not a Certified Public Accountant, he was
among a minority of less than four percent statewide who passed
the entire CPA examination on first attempt. Armed with this diverse
combination of credentials and experience, Jerry brings a unique
and dynamic perspective to any real estate transaction or business
decision.
Over
the years, Jerry has worked with and advised companies in all
stages of their development. Strategy has ranged from providing
a sound financial foundation for companies experiencing extraordinary
growth to finding a different kind of solution for companies struggling
to survive in an extended depressed market.
A
long-time resident of the Bay Area, he is intimately familiar
with Silicon Valley and the Monterey Peninsula. Active in the

Susie Ferguson, Realtor
Susie
Ferguson is a licensed real estate agent, who brings to Universal
Listing, Inc. some 25 years expertise in real estate marketing. During that 25 year period, Susie was
the regional manager for Print, Promotion, and Design (PP&D)
in San Jose, a division of family-owned National Multiple Listing
(NML) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. At PP&D, Susie
was responsible for providing full-color printing and marketing
campaigns to both commercial and residential real estate firms
throughout California. She continues to serve as a marketing
consultant for NML on the West Coast.
Susie
is a graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee,
Florida. Prior to becoming involved with PP&D, she
was an elementary school teacher in both Connecticut and Northern
California widely recognized for her creative and effective
innovations in the teaching field.
A talented writer, Susie has written, produced and directed
a number of theatrical productions over the years for numerous
organizations to which she belongs. An ongoing piano
and voice student, she has also appeared in a number of amateur
musical productions in recent years.
Active
in the community, Susie has helped raise funds for numerous
organizations, including the American Cancer Society, and
was very instrumental in helping raise funds for the purchase
of a building to house Santa Maria Urban Mission, a non-profit
organization helping struggling families in Central San Jose. She
is currently the president of the Santa Clara Valley alumni
chapter of Phi Mu Fraternity.
Susie’s focus with Universal Listing, Inc. is in the
realm of our single family residential market with which she
has been very familiar for many years. She was also recently
credentialed as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), which
provides her with additional skills in handling the specific
real estate needs of seniors.
Whether planning marketing campaigns, designing promotional
materials, or working directly with clients, Susie brings an
exciting energy and creativity to any task.

Joshua
Ferguson, Real Estate Agent
Joshua
Ferguson is a licensed real estate agent with Universal Listing,
Inc. Prior to joining Universal
Listing; Josh had been involved in marketing and market research
for Print, Promotion and Design (PP&D) in San Jose, a division
of National Multiple Listing of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His
varied background also includes recent involvement in independent
film production.
Josh is a graduate of Bellarmine College Preparatory in San
Jose and attended both Cuesta and California Polytechnic College
in San Luis Obispo, majoring in international business and
economics. While at Cal Poly, Josh was a member of Alpha
Kappa Psi, a national business fraternity.
In addition to his other interests, Josh has been heavily
involved in sports, both as a fan and as a player. This
includes playing golf, baseball, and soccer, as well as being
part of San Jose’s College Park Rugby Team, which went
on in 1999 to compete in England. Over the years, Josh
has been a volunteer with Wheels on Fire and Santa Maria Urban
Mission as well as being a volunteer tutor at both Washington
Elementary School and Castillero Middle School in San Jose. Josh
most recently spent a month traveling through much of Thailand
and Laos.
At Universal Listing, Josh has become involved in working
with buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants and has been particularly
adept at researching and analyzing investment properties throughout
the United States for our clients. As a native and life-long
resident of San Jose, he enjoys a wide referral network, which
works well for him in marketing our real estate services.
